Just like a haiku (senryu)
Very sunny and about 70 degrees today. Going to the LaPaloma spa located right on the
Rio Grande (very muddy and brown at T or C) and seems small because there's an island
in the middle blocking the other half. The pools are 108 degrees, just warm enough and
there's a stand of giant reeds hanging over the river, rustling in the spiraling air.
I could live like this - writing all morning, soaking in the spa in the afternoon, going into a sauna for a steam, coming out, back into the pool. This has a hot tub beat every which way.
the sun is too bright
I come from a dark place
we compromise
This is sun block country, especially for those of us who have been living under Lake Effect
warnings for six months.
